1 NylonX, like all nylons, is a hygroscopic material, meaning that it naturally absorbs moisture from its environment. This can cause printing issues and lead to wasted material if it absorbs too much moisture. To counteract it, using a filament drying system like PrintDry PRO to actively remove the moisture within the filament and a storage container (ideally with dessiccant) when not in use is strongly recommended.
2 Depending on your 3D printer's setup, additional accessories may be necessary for purchase to ensure your print's success and the longevity of your 3D printer's consumables (ex: nozzles). Carbon fiber's natural abrasiveness requires tough components to extend its longevity. For example, while all-brass nozzles can print composite fiber materials, they will need to be replaced (often after a few prints) due to the composite fiber wearing out the hole it extrudes from, which will cause printing inconsistencies moving forward.
